Workshop on environmental protection

A workshop organised by Fostering Achievement and Community Empower Initiative (Face Initiative) held in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa state capital, southern Nigeria to share experience on how best to protect the environment from further pollution by the international oil companies operating in the region.

It, Protection of our environment is not a luxury we can choose to enjoy, but a simple matter of survival. It is not negotiable!

All life demands struggle and survival on the environment. Many of those who have everything given to them become selfish and insensitive to the real values of what lives depend on. 

The very striking action is that we must constantly try to avoid the major building block in the person we are today which destroys natural habits. The society that violates climate change policies, gas emissions and illegal plastic waste disposal etc. should be curbed asap.
Participants focused on hard work as key to success.

Stragically, it is important to Keep the eyes on the goal and take the next step towards completing it. If you aren't sure which way to do something, do it both ways and see which works better.

I believe that we all have a responsibility to give back to nature. No one becomes successful or healthy without lots of hard work, support from others, and a little luck. Giving back creates a virtuous cycle that makes everyone more successful.

All lives depend on the environment. Keep it safe for generations here and unborn. Come against activities that degredate the environment.

Telimoye and Deborah lock Knots

Sunday 23rd June, 2019 was awowed as Telimoye Matthew, the official photographer of the Akassa Nature Watch and founder of St. Moyes Fotos went into marital Bliss with wife as they exchange rings in the presence of Pastor Bomo Stephen the presiding minister.  Families and friends including religious folks gathered to celebrate with the latest couples at the Assemblies of God Church, Kongho, Akassa clan. Also, Miss Eleanora Telimoye that was delivered on 30th November, 2018 was dedicated to God according to the Christian rights. The new couples who were dressed in very colourful continental traditional attires were ushered into the alter with well-wishers for the laying of hands and obtaining of the holy marital vow "I do". The newly blessed couples expresses joy that "God has already blessed them with a child in conformation that the bands of marriage shall last forever whether for better or worst". Well folks, it’s been another busy week behind the scenes but finally we’ve come to the moment you’ve all been waiting patiently for - the results of the logo competition and the announcement of the winner of the coveted t-shirt. As you can probably guess the most ‘like’d logo at midday GMT on Friday was the one pictured here with a total of 81 likes just edging out the green and black map logo with 76 likes. The lucky winner, picked at random, wait for it, is Mr. Carl Read. Congratulations Carl!! However, in our infinite generosity, and even despite the fact that it is not actually the ‘season of goodwill’ just at the moment, we feel that there are 3 other contributors to the competition who also deserve a prize based on their valuable inputs.
